For Efficient Well Data Management

In an industry where good information is fundamental to improving runlife and realising enhanced oil recovery, the amount of well data (and pump data) required to be gathered, stored and processed is growing at a rapid rate. Wells produced by artificial lift require continuous monitoring to ensure they run within pressure and temperature limitations. Close well analysis becomes difficult, resulting in lost production or equipment and well failures.

Z-Sight Automated Well Surveillance intelligently and efficiently processes the large volumes of operator-intensive well and pump data fundamental to improving artificial lift system performance. Automatically and in real time, the system displays a simple status indication as to whether well performance is at its optimum, running with potential for optimisation, requires analysis or has shut down — the operator can now instantly recognise and prioritise wells requiring attention. 

In addition Z-Sight will advise potential production gains within the constraints of both well and pump performance and facilitates control, whether at the well site or remotely, allowing system adjustment to safely achieve optimised production.

Typical installations to date are showing from 6% to over 50% increase in production potential from each well — even on wells thought previously to be fully optimised.

One of the first Z-Sight systems installed realised a 23% increase in production potential from the single well, delivering an additional 57,200 barrels of oil in 259 days, or US $5.37 Million additional revenue to date, and still counting.
