Typically installed in wells produced by ESP in situations where the well can flow without assistance, Zenith Auto Flow Valves (AFV) facilitate significant production increases by allowing continued flow to surface when your pump is switched off.
In addition, the valves enhance pump protection by preventing tubing solids descending into the pump on shut-down, defending against pump damage.
WIRELINE-RETRIEVABLE AUTO FLOW VALVE
When a well is no longer free flowing the Zenith Wireline-Retrievable Auto Flow Valve (W-AFV) can be retrieved from the well with slickline. The W-AFV can be redressed and reinstalled in a new well, significantly increasing your return on investment.

The Zenith Auto Flow Valve released an additional $140,000 per week from the well with the further benefit of preventing ESP failure through solids management on pump shut down. 
- Facilitates significant production increases by allowing continued flow to surface by bypassing the restriction of the ESP when pump is switched off
- Increases ESP runlife:
- » Prevention of damage to the stationary pump by reducing scale, wear and debris build-up by channelling flow through the annular ports
- » Further damage avoidance on shut-down by avoiding tubing solids descending into the pump
- » Prevents ESP back-spin or breaking motor shafts at start up
- Interventionless operation as no control lines or wireline intervention required during normal operation
